You may have a perfect picture or screen view, and only some toutch functionality with cracks in the top glass toutch digitizer.

 

As long as there is no black sludge on screen or distorted picture, only the toutch sensative glass should need replacing.

Glass is cracked and picture is distorted with lines or black sludge.

 

Partial or no touch sensativity may be aparent. It is not allways possible to remove the glass without breaking it, so this involves the complete screen assembly being replaced.

Tablet may take very long time to charge and last only 30 - 50 mins, or charge very rapidly and last very little time. In some cases it will stay on low charge regardless of how long its left on charge.

 

Note: If pluging tablet in to PC via usb cable shows PC not reconizing tablet, then a fualt on the charge port may be the issue.

Sometimes when a usb port is pulled out or pushed inwards, it can tear the tracers on the circuit board also. Unfortunately this board also houses the sound out jack socket, and is replaced as a whole unit.
